1st Annual Johns Hopkins Postdoctoral Retreat: Poster Competition

Sarah_DavidMechanical Engineering postdocs David Murphy and Sarah Stamper placed second and third, respectively, in the poster competition for the 1st Annual Johns Hopkins Postdoctoral Retreat held on May 16, 2014. David’s poster examined how tiny droplets of oil can be ejected into the atmosphere by raindrops splashing onto an oil slick on the sea. Sarah’s poster was on understanding communication and movement in groups of fish that live along the Amazon basin and use electrical signals for sensing.
