Steven Marra, an associate teaching professor in the Department of Mechanical Engineering, has been recognized by the American Society for Engineering Education with the Distinguished Teaching Award for the Mid-Atlantic Section.
He was cited for “excellence and innovation in undergraduate mechanical engineering education through classroom instruction, creation of new courses and laboratory experiences, curriculum development, student advising and mentoring, teaching collaborations across departments and institutions, and dedication to life-long learning.”
Marra will be presented with the award at the ASEE Mid-Atlantic Spring 2020 Conference, which will be held from March 27 through 28 at Johns Hopkins University.
