Congratulations to students Wei-Hung Jung, Jennifer Flournoy, and Khalid Elawad, who have been selected for Travel Awards to attend and present their research at The American Society for Cell Biology (ASCB)/ European Molecular Biology Organization (EMBO) 2017 Annual Meeting in Philadelphia, PA, December 2-6. The students are advised by Mechanical Engineering Professor Yun Chen.
Jung, a Mechanical Engineering PhD student, is invited to give a talk about the curvature effect on cell mechanics. Flournoy and Elawad (co-advised by Professor Sun Hoon Kang) will present posters about their projects on cell mechanics and 3D bioprinting, respectively. We wish them the best of luck in Philadelphia!
