Research that Professor Joe Katz as well as other JHU engineering faculty and students have performed is showcased in Journey to Planet Earth’s new episode, “Dispatches from the Gulf.” The episode, which shows how scientists confront the challenges of the Deepwater Horizon oil spill, investigates the impact of the event on the ecosystems and communities along the Gulf of Mexico.
