Our lab specializes in using advanced mechanics to understand soft musculoskeletal tissues. Broadly we combine experimental and computational approaches to understand how musculoskeletal tissue heterogeneity, tissue failure mechanics, and cell mechanotransduction contribute to the health of joints and the spine.
