Robots On The Front Lines Of COVID-19

Assistant professor Axel Krieger and his team are creating a robotic system that can remotely control ventilators from outside the rooms of patients suffering from infectious diseases.

Hopkins engineers develop rapid COVID-19 testing platform


With NSF funding, associate professor Ishan Barman will develop a system to test for the SARS-CoV-2 virus in as few as 10 minutes and can be performed in healthcare facilities or the workplace.

Impact

Jeff Wang Receives $3 million from NIH


The National Institutes of Health awarded the funds to Wang and his team to develop a diagnostic device for HIV self-testing technology.
