Congratulations to George Weber! He won first prize for his poster at the 14th U. S. National Congress on Computational Mechanics (USNCCM14) in Montreal, Canada. George is a PhD student in the department of Mechanical Engineering and joined Computational Mechanics Research Laboratory (CMRL) in 2013. His work is supported through the Center of Excellence on Integrated Materials Modeling (CEIMM) at JHU.

The title of his poster is An image based finite element model for Ni-based superalloys using a two scale constitutive model accounting for morphological distributions of γ’ precipitates’ . Well done!
