Amy Sun ’16 has jumped into life at JHU with both feet and then some!

Joining us as a Westgate scholar, Amy is pursuing a dual degree in Biomedical Engineering and Engineering Mechanics. This is Amy’s third year on Student Government, and she looks forward to her new role as Chair of the Student Services Committee. Amy is also involved with Alpha Phi Omega, the national service fraternity, and she regularly takes classes at Peabody Music Conservatory. In her free time, she loves playing violin, swimming, and traveling. Amy is working on the What To Fix @ Hopkins (WTF Hopkins) Campaign, free color printing in the library, and bike rentals.

Amy also holds a third degree black belt in taekwondo herself. Here’s Amy in action executing a spinning hook kick.
