About me: I am a Ph.D. student in Mechanical Engineering at The Johns Hopkins University. I work in the Applied Fluid Imaging Laboratory with Dr. Lester Su, using fluid imaging to study problems relating to turbulence, fluid mixing, combustion, and reacting flows. Specifically, my dissertation research has examined the effects of varying molecular transport properties on multi-species fluid mixing. Please see my CV and the other links below for more information. In the fall, I will join the Mechanical Engineering Department at the U.S. Naval Academy as an Assistant Professor. My wife, Jamie Trevitt, is a Ph.D. student in the Department of Population, Family and Reproductive Health in the School of Public Health at Johns Hopkins.
